What You Need to Know
Founded in 2015, Coastal Painting Services, LLC has operated with strong values aimed at serving client needs. Owner, Joe Mundweiler, began painting as a teenager and previously owned and operated a painting business in upstate New York, where he’s from. We take pride in our work and love beautifying the Jacksonville area, especially our own neighborhood, Julington Creek Plantation. To us, every new project means a new relationship. INTERIOR HOUSE PAINTING
Our attention to detail allows us to complete custom, high end interior painting. Our interior work includes but is not limited to walls, trim, doors, ceilings, stair rail and tread staining and painting, minor sheet rock repair, wall paper removal and skimming and cabinet painting. There is no job too big or too small.
EXTERIOR HOUSE PAINTING
Our exterior painting services include but are not limited to house body painting, trim, garage doors, front door painting and staining, patio and pool deck painting and staining and garage epoxy floors. All of our exterior painting includes the proper prep work to ensure that the paint bonds correctly.

Awesome experience from Quoting to Job Completion! I was convinced that the scratched, paint peeled & rusted doors couldn't be salvaged. However the crew at Coastal Painting made them look like new! Awesome work on the Door Trim and Baseboards as well. A fresh coat of paint, throughout the house, made it look like new. It left us asking why we waited so long to have this done. Coastal Painting Service might well be the best company in Jacksonville! Truly, from my first contact (prompt) to the scheduling (efficient), every stage was focused on what I hoped to achieve. One of the most challenging requests was to stain travertine on our patio. This involved multiple efforts to achieve the best color. The dedication to quality throughout this process was extraordinary. The cost for the entire scope of work was very reasonable considering we had some rather complex goals (staining stone, whitewashing an entire wall, etc.). I received creative and talented advice at every turn. The team that did the work was amazing. On time, very professional, courteous, extremely respectful of our home and of us, and most important, a really special team that worked well together. Their final actions involved a careful inspection of our home. In fact, they left it so tidy I honestly couldn't tell anyone had been there. Lastly, the final outcome was outstanding. (Obviously), I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I hired Coastal to paint my entire home inside as well as stain my back and front porch floors. I had such trouble figuring out the colors I wanted that Chelsea offered and came over to my house one night and painted swatches on my wall to help me decide. My personal schedule kept changing almost every month pushing the start date further and further back but Chelsea was so accommodating and patient every time. Finally, I got the first half of my house painted and Russ and Bo were just great. They were professional, clean, punctual and really transformed my upstairs and stairwell. Bo even fixed my door knob that had fallen off my porch door without asking. Russ was personable and we had a great conversation one day at the end of the job. I'm really looking forward to them returning for the second half!
